Shi-Fu Shannon Moore brings over three decades of experience in martial arts, combat sports, and performance-based training. Beginning his journey at age 10 in Detroit, Michigan, he has devoted his life to understanding how real-world combat, athletic development, and human movement intersect.

Through decades of cross-training and competition, Shi-Fu Moore developed a deep understanding of timing, structure, biomechanics, and adaptive decision-making under pressure.
He has competed successfully in regional and national full-contact events and is recognized as one of the top fighting instructors within the Traditional Wing Chun system.
In 2004, he was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame for Outstanding Achievement. During that same year, he trained inside the Shaolin Temple in China, completing an internal ChanWu (Zen & Wushu) program and receiving official recognition from Venerable Abbot Shi Yongxin.

Grandmaster William Cheung
At the age of ten training started
In 1951, at the age ten, William Cheung started his training in Wing Chun Kung Fu under the guidance of Grandmaster Yip Man. Cheung was a live-in student of the Grandmaster . It was during this time that he inherited the system of Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu.
Kung fu elimination contest
Between 1957 & 1958 Cheung won the Kung Fu elimination contests in Hong Kong, defeating opponents with many more years’ experience.
William Cheung & Bruce Lee
In 1954 Cheung introduced the young Bruce Lee to Grandmaster Yip Man. Throughout the four and a half years the two men became friends. Cheung taking on the role of personally training Bruce. In later years Bruce would use this knowledge and techniques in competitions, and in his many movies.

After completing his training under Grandmaster Yip Man. Cheung left Hong Kong to pursue an academic career at the Australian National University in Canberra. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Economics.
William Cheung began teaching
Moving to Melbourne Australia in 1959 taking his knowledge of the Wing Chun System with him. By 1973 Cheung had started sharing his Wing Chun knowledge and was operating a successful Martial Arts School, the now H.Q of the G.T.W.C.K.F.A. This in turn saw him elected as the President of the Australian Kung Fu Federation in 1976.
Instructor to the U.S Seventh Fleet
Cheung was appointed as Chief Instructor to the U.S Seventh Fleet based in Yukosuka, Japan, during 1978 to 1980. In charge of the intensive mental and physical development program of close quarter hand to hand combat for the marines.
Teaching unarmed combat
1979 saw Cheung and his juniors conduct programs for special law enforcing officers in the Armed Services. Teaching unarmed combat, restraining and disarming assailants and a fire arm retention program. Throughout the U.S.A. and other countries
World speed punching record
At the Harvard University, Boston, in 1984, Grandmaster Cheung set the world speed punching record of 8.3 punches per second .
Dealing with the bodies internal energies
From his early training in Kung Fu. The now Grandmaster has become an expert in Meridian, Pressure Points and Meditation. Dealing with the bodies internal energies. Over the last ten years he has used this knowledge to develop many successful programs, Treating sports injuries and stress management. Grandmaster Cheung’s seminars and treatments are now much sought after all over the world.
